Meet the Attorneys of Reinhardt | Harper | Davis, PLC

Andrew J. Reinhardt - A graduate of St. Lawrence University and Syracuse University Law School, Mr. Reinhardt has been practicing law since 1980. He specializes in handling workers’ compensation, social security disability and personal injury cases. A member of the D.C., Maryland and Virginia Bars, he is an active member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (VTLA), the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG), the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives (NOSSCR), the Richmond Bar Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association (ATLA). Mr. Reinhardt is also a long time board member of WILG and currently serves as its President Elect. WILG is a National Organization of attorneys who represent injured workers. Stephen T. Harper - A graduate of the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and the University of Richmond Law School, Mr. Harper has been practicing law since 1995. He specializes in handling personal injury, workers’ compensation, criminal and traffic cases.  He is an active member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the Richmond Bar Association. Stephen is also a board member of Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG). In Stephen’s first four years of practice, he tried approximately three dozen personal injury jury trials to a conclusion. Since then he has had hundreds of bench trials including general district court, criminal/civil matters, as well as workers’ compensation trials. In addition to dozens of personal injury jury trials since that time, Stephen has also taken his client’s cases to the highest Virginia courts handling workers’ compensations cases, including the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Virginia on numerous occasions. Craig DavisCraig Davis

A graduate of Washington and Lee University and the University of Richmond School of Law, Craig has been practicing law since 1994. He specializes in handling personal injury and workers' compensation.

A member of the Virginia and West Virginia Bars Craig has been admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in those states. He is currently a Governor at Large on the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association's (VTLA) Board of Governors and is a former chair of VTLA's Workers' Compensation Section and Young Trial Lawyer Section. Craig also helped establish and served as moderator of the Workers' Compensation Section's Advanced Practice CLE Retreat for first three years it was held and has remained on the Planning Committee since that time. Craig also served two year terms as the Chair of both the Fundraising and Membership Committees for the VTLA.

Craig has tried to verdict and settled numerous personal injury and medical malpractice cases resulting in awards exceeding a million dollars for his clients. He was recognized as a member of Virginia's "Legal Elite" by Virginia Business Magazine and has been selected as a Virginia "Super Lawyer" for the last four years. He was also recently selected for inclusion in the publication "Best Lawyers in America."

He frequently lectures on topics related to workers' compensation, personal injury and medical malpractice, throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. He has published articles on the rights of undocumented workers in Virginia and mediation strategies under the Virginia Workers Compensation Act. Each year Craig lobbies on behalf of injured workers and victims of negligence at the Virginia General Assembly.

In his spare time Craig volunteers at Central Virginia Legal Aid, coaches youth sports through the Tuckahoe YMCA, and helps raise money for charities, including Connor's Heroes, by organizing benefit concerts. Joel W. YoungJoel W. Young

A graduate of the University of Virginia and William & Mary's Marshall-Wythe School of Law, Joel has been practicing law since 2003. He specializes in handling workers' compensation cases.

Joel is an experienced litigator, whose work as a prosecutor and defense attorney has afforded him the unique ability to see a case from different angles. He has prosecuted and defended hundreds of cases, and handled appeals to the Court of Appeals of Virginia and to the Supreme Court of Virginia.

Michael J. BesteMichael J. Beste

A graduate of Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado summa cum laude and University of Baltimore Law School magna cum laude, Michael has been practicing law since 2011. He specializes in handling workers' compensation and personal injury cases.

A member of the Virginia and Maryland Bars, Michael has been admitted to practice in all state courts in Virginia and Maryland, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. He has enthusiastically represented many injured clients in personal injury and workers' compensation cases to settlement and verdict. In many instances, Michael has handled both workers' compensation and third party liability cases arising from the same incident. This experience has allowed him to understand the complicated interplay between workers' compensation and personal injury cases.

Michael has successfully argued cases on appeal before the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission and the Court of Appeals of Virginia. He enjoys legal argument, and he will tirelessly pursue creative angles to secure benefits on behalf of his clients. Michael is also an active member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, Workers' Injury Law & Advocacy Group, and American Association for Justice.

Earlier in his career, Michael handled a wider variety of legal matters, though he is now enjoying the narrower focus of advocating on behalf of injured workers.
